Hack Your Look: How to Style Snowboard Outfits

Hack Your Look: How to Style Snowboard Outfits

We all want to look good on the mountain, whether we like to admit it or not. Some of us even wear makeup when they ride (me). I don't know about you, but when I feel like I look good, I ride SO much better. Literally, I'm invincible.

Here's me on a rail at Northstar Ski Resort in California.

Guys, this fit has gotten so much attention, I didn't even know what I was doing at the time.

What I've found to be the key over the years is:

  • Match 2 components of your outfit together and you'll get compliments/feel cool. For example: Gloves & Bib color, Beanie & Sweatshirt, Gloves & Beanie, Beanie & Bib.
  • Keep a constant Color Scheme. In other words: Keep neutrals with neutrals, Light colors with light colors, Dark colors with dark colors.
  • Wear a Bib Belt. AKA stay snatched, look hot.

These Burton Avalon Bibs get SO MUCH attention. These are the bibs in Folkstone Gray from 2021. Maybe you can still find them used - I get so many questions on these bad boys. My go-to used items sites are: Mercari and Sendy.

Sendy also has gear you can rent from people if you are traveling and don't want to bring your board, boots, etc. Super Cool.

A few staple products I will be rocking this year/Recommend are:

1. Flylow Women's Foxy Bibs in Alpine:

These bibs are super comfortable, tons of pockets and ventilation, elastic straps (my favorite for easier in and out) include belt loops for a Bib Belt as well.

2. 2Minus1 The Burgundy Bib:

These bibs are easily the most form-fitting bibs you can find. Super comfy, tons of pockets, pant length adjusters, belt loops, definitely one of my all-time fav bibs to rock.

3. Men's Airblaster Trenchover Jacket: Dinoflage

I absolutely LOVE camo everything, especially on the mountain. This specific jacket literally has dinosaurs on it, which is freaking dope. I always rock mens jackets because I like the oversized/longer fit. Usually I'll wear a mens Small or Medium. The larger jackets are super comfy for colder days & pow pow days.

4. Roxy Women's High Rising Pants

Okay so usually I'm not a pants girl, but I'm definitely a high-waisted girl so these are literally the only ski pants you'll catch me in. Super duper comfy, cute as heck, and have the sickest in-style fit. The color goes with my jacket and that's a must, so we're into it.

Thanks for reading, hope you take some pages out of my book xoxo
